About Shopping in Dublin
When you're visiting Dublin, your eyes might be drawn to the flashy shops selling shamrock covered trinkets. But they're not your only option for souvenirs. Instead, try the Irish Design Shop or Kilkenny for beautiful blankets, pottery, jewellery or tea towels, designed and made in Ireland--and without a shamrock in sight!
The Irish Design Shop for beautifully curated collection of Irish design products. Om Diva or Project 51 for Irish designed clothing and accessories. Fallon & Byrne for foodie finds. George's Street Arcade for unexpected trinkets or arty photos of Dublin.
Vintage & Flea Markets
The Dublin Flea Market happens on the first Sunday of the month in Newmarket Square. In between, try Siopaella in Temple Bar for great vintage finds.
Try the Powerscourt Centre on South William Street for some of the city's loveliest boutiques. Try Bow for Irish designed jewellery and fashion, or Article for beautiful homewares. A. Rubanesque is a treasure trove of pretty ribbons and trimmings, and cafes line the indoor courtyard.
Brown Thomas is the south side's fancy department store. Clery's or Arnott's on the north side would be the equivalent.
