Personal guide service to allow you to make the most of your time to see pretty back country settings in a safe manor. Trips are designed to fit the individuals time budget, fitness level and seasonal considerations. I try to take advantage of seasonal highlights to enhance the experience such as the best times to visit water falls, rivers and ascending peaks etc.
Over night and multi day trips are available.
Having extensively explored from Auburn to Lake Tahoe, I have become familiar with the prettiest settings. One of my joys is to seek out new beautiful places which has lead me to explore Utah, Arizona Nevada and Wyoming.
Depending on the direction from Nevada City/Grass Valley, in forty minutes we can be hiking a peak or on a river trail in the rolling foothills. In the winter, (rentals available) strap on your snowshoes to see great mountain top views without a lot of effort.
So if you want a safe nature fix such as walking in a river canyon to the roar of a river, the silence of a meadow, the majestic views from a mountain top or a bursting water fall, let me help you.
Confined to a wheel chair? No problem, I know some very nice wheel chair accessible outings

$60 for the first three hours and $20 for each after. For groups of five or more, add $20 per person. Less than you might pay for a hour long ski instructor and you don't have to worry about getting lost or not finding the destination.

Hi, I am a retired business owner who relocated to Grass Valley in 2008 who loves to explore the area as it has so much to offer - waterfalls, river trails, local history and mountain peaks. I am married with a 10 year old daughter and lead a very healthy lifestyle. I love to show people beautiful settings in nature. I grew up in the San Francisco bay area then moved to southern California. Having extensively explored from Auburn to Lake Tahoe, I have become familiar with the prettiest settings. One of my joys is to seek out new beautiful places which has lead me to explore Utah, Arizona Nevada and Wyoming. It sure beats working in an office. In 1995 I took a life changing excursion thru Arizona and Utah that changed my life. I realized during the trip, I did not want to be stuck behind a desk for the remainder of a good part of my life with so much to see. It became a personal goal to exit the business and move to a more outdoor friendly area. Full profile Leave a Review
