We begin in Central, where both the oldest and newest parts of Victoria Harbour coexist in harmony. This is and has always been the heart of Hong Kong so don't miss the chance to have it brought to life with thoroughly researched tales of past, present and future.

Then it's up the worlds longest chain of escalators to the midlevels (who likes walking up hill anyway?), where we will begin our descent via Man Mo Temple, the Cat Street Market and Hollywood Road Park.

Finally we reach Sai Ying Pun. A world away from the metropolitan crowd of Central, known for it's Chinese Medicine, paper crafts and incense.

Food is an important aspect of local life and can be explored in as much depth as you feel comfortable with along the way.

The history made the people and the people make the place. Learning about the local people, their culture and customs is a wonderful experience that takes you far away from the glitz and glamour that Hong Kong is known for.

This began after graduating from the University of Edinburgh in 2010 and returning to Hong Kong (my home since the age of 2). I realised that there was so much about Hong Kong I didn’t know, so many places I never visited and so many things I had never tried. My journey to explore, adventure and learn more about Hong Kong began there but it wasn’t until 2013 that I dedicated myself to becoming a Hong Kong tour guide in order to share the amazing stories, places and cultural gems that I had discovered. Hong Kong has always been at the forefront of where East meets West in a rapidly evolving world. The key role it has played in the history of this region is unbelievable. From assisting the fall of China’s last emperor to its handover back to a powerful Peoples Republic of China, Hong Kong has been and will continue to be a place with a remarkably unique identity that people from all over the world travel to visit. 852 Tour will be here, sharing what makes Hong Kong such an incredible place in a fun and interactive way.
