The Puerto Princesa Underground River is the LONGEST UNDERGROUND RIVER in the world and is now one of the NEW SEVEN WONDERS OF NATURE. Aside from its length, several new findings such as the fossils of ancient seacow (sirenia) and passages full of mineral formations have been found here. Without a doubt, this is the main attraction of the city.

Travel time from Puerto Princesa proper to Sabang wharf: 2 hours on board an airconditioned van

Travel time from Sabang wharf to the cave park: 20mins.on board a motorized boat

Travel time inside the cave: 30-45 mins. back and forth
Park to the cave: 5 minutes walk

Activities: Sightseeing, encounter with wild animals

Suggested attire during the tour:
Comfortable shorts and shirt, aquashoes, cap,sunglasses, sunblock. Pls.note that you are going to ride on a motorized and paddle boats. You may get wet anytime.You may bring extra clothes in case of rain and big waves.

Note: This tour shall be booked at least 2 weeks to a month prior to the tour schedule. Confirmation will depend on the permit secured. The attraction is a protected area and the number of persons allowed in a day is limited. Permit will only be secured upon booking confirmation from this website. This tour is subject to weather conditions.

The rate is only applicable to pick-up and drop-off point within the city proper. Additional charges may apply for the van transport outside the downtown proper.
