We are going to give you the beer tour we would want as beer lovers if we were visiting San Francisco. You just arrived in San Francisco and you have two choices:
A. Meet us and DO NOTHING as you are taken to unique Bay Area breweries and tap rooms to drink some of the most sought after beers in the Western US and snack on the local foods that SF is famous for, giving you a well-rounded education of Northern California’s legendary beers.
B. Spend your whole vacation on “yelp” reading through hundreds of reviews trying to guess where the local food lovers really eat and why pubs all serving the exact same commercially available beers have 5 star ratings, and then worry about how your going to get back to your hotel after drinking.
Stay safe and come with us. You will avoid the beer pubs with rude bartenders and attitude which you are sure to end up at if you are on a self guided tour. You will drink the best beer, buy the hard to find limited distribution beers to take home, and tour a small artisanal craft brewery on our full day tour to Sonoma County featuring the legendary Russian River Brewing Co.
We customize the tour based on what special beers are on tap on the day of your tour and your preferences in regard to beer styles, the importance of purchasing beer to take home, and whether you want to grab a burrito on the road or sit down for a fine California cuisine meal.
This tour includes a micro-brewery tour, visits to 3-4 of our favorite craft beer establishments, a designated driver, and 8 hours of the guides time.

Loren was born and raised in the Bay Area and has been part of the artisanal and locally produced craft beer, food and beverage scene for much of his life. He is currently opening a brewery in the San Francisco Bay Area with plans for international distribution. Your guide has extensive experience with, and passion for Bay Area produced beer and has relationships with restauranteurs, hoteliers, cheese makers, chefs, bakers, food and beverage producers, and the farmers who provide us with the crops that allow San Franciscans access to some of the best craft beer and food on the planet. He is training for his Cicerone certification (Beer Sommelier) and working with regional farmers in order to source heirloom hop varietals that have almost gone extinct. He also ran an organic farm and stayed extensively at sustainable wineries and farms around Europe to gain an international perspective on food and beverages in European culture. He has been involved in global food production, sustainable food supply development, and was a participant at the UN World Food Summit.
