CTA, Divvy bike day pass, and airport pick up is INCLUDED in tour price.

Do you have 6 or more hours between connecting flights? Want to escape the airport and see the City of Chicago?

Chicago is the #2 "bike-friendly” city in the nation! This is your chance to see the highlights of the city like a local on public transport, bicycle, and foot.

Here's how this will work...

I'll meet you at O'Hare when your flight lands, then we'll head into the city on the  'L ', Chicago's rapid transit system.

During the 45 minute ride downtown, I'll entertain you with fun facts and history and we'll decide on what you want to see. I'm also happy to surprise you as well.

If you have hand carry that needs to be stored while we roam around, we'll safely secure it in a locker.

Then, we'll use the bike share system to explore the sites in heart of the city and go off the beaten path. Have your camera handy to take lots of pics.

This tour is unique because we co-create this experience. It's totally spontaneous!

Combining modes of transport hopping on and off the CTA, biking, and walking, you'll see more in less time.

Here's the breakdown of timing:
• Airport to downtown (1 hour)
• Explore the city on CTA, bicycle, and foot. (2 hours)

This is a 3 hour tour full of urban adventure and fun.

At the end of the tour, you'll be escorted back to the train platorm that takes you directly to the airport so you can catch your flight.

*Dress for the weather.
**Biking is weather permitting.
***Availability is on Saturday and Sunday only.

If you prefer to do this tour on foot only, we'll cover as much as we can using the bus and 'L'.

Additional optional costs not included:
• Locker $9 for large, $12 for jumbo
• Any Chicago food that you would like to try

Hey there. I'm a Filipino-American native of Chicago. I believe in exploring communities with locals, getting immersed into the culture, and sharing food. I worked on Michigan Avenue at the Terra Museum of American Art for several years coordinating tours before it closed in 2004. Fast forward several years, I followed my dream to take a year off to travel and volunteer. On this journey I did a 935 km solo bicycle tour on the Pan-American Highway with no prior experience or training. I've been to over 24 countries in Europe, South America, and Asia on various trips. I've lived in Las Vegas, on the beach in Costa Rica, and in one of the most innovative cities in the world Medellin, Colombia. I always knew Chicago was a world class city, but it wasn't until I moved away and came back that I understood why. During my travels I was lucky enough to meet people who showed me places that couldn't be found in a guide book or tour. I'll do the same for you. Full profile Leave a Review
