Route from Cercedilla (1214m of altitude) to the top of the Puerto de la Fuenfria (1796m). It is a 7kms walk through a really nice forrest. The Puerto de la Fuenfría is the limit between the province of Madrid and Segovia. If you still have strength (a good shape is needed) we can go from the Puerto de la Fuenfria to the top of Cerro Minguete (2023m) or to the top of Montón de Trigo (2155m), or to La Pinareja (2197m) which is one of the mountains of the “La Mujer Muerta” very famous mountain chain. It would take at least 4h walking, and if you want to expand the route it would take some extra time, to Cerro Minguete (1 extra hour), Montón de Trigo (1,5 extra hour) or Pinareja (3-4 extra hours). No need to say, but the views from the top are amazing!
a snack (two sandwiches) and 2L of water are included in the price.
After the walk is done a full meal is possible (not included in the price) in some of the restaurants in Cercedilla... and back to Madrid (1h ride from-to Madrid-Cercedilla)
