Spend an exciting day exploring Bangkok's famous and renowned riverfront, and discover the cultural heart of Thailand. On the way, we will explore the finest and most important Thai cultural relics and temples.

We will start off the trip with a visit to the Tha Tien district, which was the historic quarter for foreign envoys, before visiting the Grand Palace. Inside its imposing 61-acre complex, you'll encounter what is undoubtedly one of the wonders of the world, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew).

Next, Wat Pho is Bangkok's oldest and largest temple, featuring the largest reclining Buddha statue and the Chedi of the Kings.

We will also visit Wat Traimit, which houses a striking 3-metre tall Golden Buddha image - a gleaming, 5-ton figure of solid gold, before capping off a trip to Bangkok's Chinatown, a mecca for food lovers.

We will also pass by the scenic hallmark of Wat Arun, on the banks of the Chao Phraya river, a wonderful place to watch the sunset.

Depending on your preference we can add more "off-the-beaten path" destinations and will commute like a local, whether it's by local ferry, tuk-tuk, songthaew, BTS, or taxi, which means the tour can be adventurous as you like it!

Personable, engaging, and energetic, Danny was a great host. He did his best to make sure we got the most out of our time in Bangkok. We had a great time watching the sunset at Wat Saket. He even took us out to a unique local spot where we enjoyed whiskey shots for 10 baht! Thank you, Danny, for making sure our day in Bangkok was a time to remember.

Danny really went out of his way to make sure we got the most out of our time in Bangkok. He's quite an experienced traveler himself, and even hosts a travel podcast! Danny also shared a lot about the history of Thailand and the development of Bangkok over the past 200 years. Even though the Grand Palace closed early during our visit (it was a Buddhist holiday) which was unfortunate, Danny took us to some other interesting attractions such as Wat Arun, Wat Saket, and the Jim Thompson house. We took boats, road tuk-tuks, and even explored the backstreets and canals. For one day, the tour packed in a lot! Highly recommended if you want to get the most out of your time in BKK.
