This beautiful 10 mile roundtrip hike gives you an opportunity to experience a true Socal hike without driving hours away. Opportunity to see wildlife, history and gold panning. This hike doesn't have much elevation change but it is long. Best to start is early in the morning (6am) to finish by 3-4pm. Minimum 2 liters of water, snacks/food, hiking shoes, hat, sunscreen. Also a great way to experience Socal if you don't want to see the typical tourist spots.

My name is Sindi and I am a native Californian/Angelino. I grew up being an outdoors person. I have my B.S. in psychology from UC Riverside. I've hiked in 10 of our National Parks. I have a lot of knowledge about our San Gabriel Mountains in Angeles National Forest. I currently work for a sustainable cattle company. I love hiking and any opportunity I have to get outdoors, I'll take it. My goal is to hike the John Muir Trail and eventually the Pacific Crest Trail. Full profile Leave a Review
