The Hollywood and Highland Center is a unique destination in the heart of Hollywood that features an eclectic mix of 60 retailers, 9 restaurants and entertainment venues featuring the Kodak/Dolby Theatre (home of the Oscars® and American Idol Finals). On the upper level catch a telescopic view of the world famous Hollywood Sign. Relax and enjoy a delicious ice cream cone while you people watch from above!

Our journey continues with a walking tour of Hollywood Boulevard where the stars of TV and film are immortalized all along the Walk of Fame. Street performers dressed as your favorite characters will be happy to pose with you for a perfect vacation photo – for a tip, of course! Hungry? Stop in at the Hard Rock Café for a mouthwatering meal.

Just down the way you can pose for a photo at TCL Chinese Theatre (formerly Grauman’s) and visit any other museums that strike your fancy – like the Hollywood Wax Museum. And for the most reasonable souvenir prices in town, I have the perfect place for you to pick up a memento of your visit to Tinseltown!

Guided tour only. Additional costs for food and entry fees not included.

I was born and raised in Memphis, but was always dreaming of coming to California. I came here for college and upon graduation decided to make this my new home. After a successful computer-programming career, I now do a variety of on-demand gigs in the Los Angeles area including leading tours of places that you have long dreamed about visiting. Places like Hollywood where the legends of TV and film are immortalized on the Walk of Fame and the street performers bring to life your favorite characters. Nearby is the luxury of Beverly Hills and a visit to the world famous Hollywood sign. No trip to LA is complete without a visit to the world famous Southern California beaches with a tranquil walk on the Malibu Pier and a stroll along the always-lively Santa Monica Pier with its shops, rides and interesting cast of characters. For those of you who enjoy museums, the renown Getty Museum and Getty Villa beckon with interesting exhibits you’re likely to see no where else. A visit to the Griffith Observatory includes the planetarium and wonderful panoramic views of downtown Los Angeles and beyond.
