“All the world’s a stage!” Embrace your inner theatrical geek and join our professional licensed tour guide/actors who weave groups around New York’s bustling streets, brandishing their love of the stage and of the city along half-mile routes that cover the origins of musical theatre and Broadway history. Each tour guide brings a tablet with photos and videos and will entertain you with backstage stories and personal stage experiences.
On this tour, we pick up where Act 1 leaves off and continue to take you past more famous locations such as the Broadway Theatre (Cinderella, Fiddler on The Roof), the Winter Garden Theatre (Cats, Mamma Mia!, Rocky), the Gershwin Theatre (Wicked), Ellen’s Stardust Diner, Eugene O’Neil Theatre (Jersey Boys), Ambassador Theatre (Chicago), etc. Along the way, learn about the music publishing business at the Brill Building near Tin Pan Alley, other fun Broadway stories and traditions as well as various theatre superstitions. You will also gain insight into the life of a Broadway actor as well as learn about Off-Broadway festivals, rehearsal studios, and the best way to get tickets to a Broadway show.
This tour is the perfect gift for the young up-and-coming Broadway performer in your life or for enthusiasts who love to sing and dance. Expect spontaneous jazz hands and outbursts of Broadway show tunes!
