Coney Island’s attractions reached a historical peak during the first half of the 20th century, declining in popularity after World War II and years of neglect. The park still captures the hearts of young and old and has in recent years seen a resurection with the reopening of Luna Park.
Our ride takes us through iconic Prospect Park designed by NYC Parks Commissioner Robert Moses, around the Brooklyn Greenway with sweeping views of Manhattan, through the Gateway National Recreational Area to Coney Island.
A multitude of lunch spots and places to chill in the afternoon await. Return via bike or metro. This is a casual ride with plenty of photo opportunities.
