I’m a native New Yorker, and love playing tennis in Central Park. It is one of the most wonderful places to play in Manhattan. There are 26 clay courts surrounded by trees, and next to the magical Central Park reservoir–an idyllic place in the heart of Manhattan. While I’m not a pro, a 4.0 player, I’ve played on these historic courts since high-school when my tennis teammates and I practiced there after school.

I've played in many cities – Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Paris, London, Positano, San Francisco, Santa Fe, Miami Beach, but mostly in Central Park. It is always a pleasure playing with someone who knows the tennis scene as only a native does. So if you are a tennis fanatic, and visiting New York, I can offer you a memorable experience – an hour of tennis in Central Park. We can play a set, or just hit for fun; it's up to you!

Your booking must be made 12 days in advance of the day you want to play. This is what I provide: I would reserve a court for one (1) hour between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday. I would also purchase a single day pass for you. We would meet at the Central Park Tennis Center 30 minutes before the scheduled hour of play. The tennis center is located mid-park (east to west) at 93rd Street. The Central Park Tennis Center has men and women changing rooms with showers. You must wear smooth–soled sneakers, the only kind allowed on the courts.

There is a pro shop where you can rent a racket ($10) or buy socks. They also sell a selection of Central Park Tennis branded apparel.

Hope to see you at the courts.
