Overview
It is a great day that involved two most attractive sites in Beijing: Mutianyu Great Wall and Ming Tomb. The Great Wall is a breathtaking sight and an awesome experience. It’s a challenging hike from the valley floor to the top rampart but the reward is a spectacular view of the wall snaking for miles over mountainous terrain. You will visit the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall to avoid the crowds. For the tomb you will have the chance to visit the underground palace tomb of Dingling the only tomb that has been excavated among the thirteen Ming Dynasty imperial tombs.

What You Can Expect:
Pick up travelers from hotel on departure time between 7:00am and 8:00am, and then drive to the Ming Tombs (Dingling). Dingling is the underground mausoleum of Emperor Wan Li. The Underground Palace Halls, a labyrinth palace building, were the first royal tomb excavated in accordance with plan in China. Sightseeing on Ming Tombs for 2 hours. End the visit of Ming Tombs at about 11:00, before having Chinese traditional lunch (11:30), travelers have 45 minutes to have a short visit of Jade Carving Factory, which shows the excellent skills on carving.

After lunch you'll be driven to Mutianyu Great Wall. If you want to reach the highest point, cable car is a good choice (optional).

On the way back we'll drive by exterior the National Stadium - the Bird Nest and National Aquatics Center - the Water Cube. After that, you will have a chance to enjoy the Chinese traditional Silk arts. After the whole day tour, you are transferred back to your hotel at around 6 pm.
