New York City boasts one of the world's best street art scenes. Most impressive is the outdoor graffiti art gallery created in Bushwick, Brooklyn. An entire neighborhood of murals and art everywhere you look! All my customers are blown away to discover it!
While most Brooklyn tours focus on the curated Bushwick Collective, we cover a more unique area of Bushwick, with a wider variety of pieces.
Over the course of this dynamic tour, we will discuss the fascinating history of graffiti culture and street art, and how it has evolved into the mainstream. You will also learn the difference between traditional aerosol graffiti and other techniques involving stencils, paste-ups, stickers, and more. You will see dozens of unique pieces & murals along the tour, as well as learn about how the art has become a part of the debate over gentrification in central Brooklyn.
Because we keep our groups small and personal, your guide will make sure that you have the opportunity to ask questions, and get amazing photos of the art.
A fantastic tour for urban explorers & photographers!
