Point Roberts, WA is an exclave -- only reachable from the US mainland by driving through Canada. Its remote location meant it was a hotbed of smuggling and piracy. Being cut off from the mainland, daily life for those like me who live here is really crazy. We'll cruise around Point Roberts in your vehicle (you drive) and I'll share the fascinating story of this one-of-a-kind town. We'll stop for short beach and forest hikes, watch for orcas and eagles and see amazing views. Just 30 minutes south of Vancouver or 1 hour north of Bellingham. Meet at the International Marketplace north door, at the mural.
