Garbatella, with its poetic courtyards and the village-ish atmosphere, is one of my favourite neighbourhoods in Rome!
Moreover, Garbatella’s street art is the perfect prelude to what we will find wandering around Ostiense, the former industrial district and today’s street art cluster of the city.

I am an urban travel blogger ( born and raised in Rome. I like to travel off-the-beaten path and to write about unconventional destinations, abandoned places, street art, outskirts, urban landscapes, weird spots and basically all the places I happen to visit and become very enthusiastic about. Awesome tour with Giulia! Giulia was a wonderful guide. She has an amazing amount of knowledge about the artists and knows just what to see. In addition to showing us some amazing street art, she also showed us the Protestant Cemetery and Pyramid because we were in the area. She had so many recommendations of places to go and where to find additional art. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time in Rome to take advantage of her recommendations. She is energetic, super sweet and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour!
