Welcome to the ATL! Also known as the Hollywood of the South, this ever changing metropolitan city began as a railroad town. Now over a hundred years later, experience how old railroad lines have been transformed to change the face of the state’s capital. With trails for walking & biking, the Atlanta Beltline has become an urban destination for exploring local art, food & culture.
The tour begins at Park Tavern in historic Piedmont Park. We then follow the East Side trail with stops to explore two of the city’s latest mixed use developments - former Atlanta City Hall East, now Ponce City Market & the Krog St. Market, formerly the home of Tyler Perry film studios. While at Ponce City Market, we’ll head up to the roof to catch one of the best views of the city at Skyline Amusement Park. With interesting, and sometimes unbelievable stories usually made of urban myths, book your tour to discover the real Atlanta, and see why #weloveatl.
*Our urban hike is around (2) miles each way. Athletic wear isn’t necessary, but please dress appropriately for the weather. Comfortable shoes are strongly suggested.
*Food, Drinks, $10 Park Admission & Amusements not included in price. Laughter & good times are highly suggested, and also complimentary. For groups larger than 5, or additional dates, just contact us.
