From Monument Underground station we shall cross over London Bridge and zig-zag through the streets of London's Southwark neighbourhood identifying and appreciating the war monuments, plaques, buildings and structures that suffered damage or protected Londoners during the World War 2 Blitz.
This walk takes about 1.5 hrs to complete. We finish inside the Imperial War Museum - entry is free of charge where we can learn more and enjoy refreshments. Suitable for children.
London is full of history, landmarks and famous people and going on a journey of exploration can be extremely rewarding. Let me take you on this adventure and enjoy what this city has to offer! I’ve been doing walks/tours in London for the last 10 years and I want to share my experience and knowledge with anyone wanting to enjoy this fantastic city. Your preferences and wishes are important to me in terms of what you want to see and do. What can I say about me? I'm an easygoing, relaxed but also dependable and organised. The tours tend to be informal but are planned to be very informative and 100% customizable. I can use public transport, private car and organise cycle tours! For me it will be an excellent day out with good company seeing the best London has to offer. Full profile ⋅ Leave a Review
