The Jewish Ghetto of Cagliari is perhaps one of the most intriguing in the world, as most of its history remains scattered due to the last major diaspora during the Aragon Empire.
While trying to solve the puzzle in recollecting lost Jewish history, many Sardinian politicians have asked the Jewish community to return to the island's main Semitic hubs: Cagliari and Alghero.
The whole tour will last approximately 2 hours, containing known history, new insights and a visit at the ex-synagogue, we'll share a few words from the Sardu language (which may have derived from Semitic language) and we'll talk you through the architecture, culture and antrophologies of the main ghetto in the island.
As the travelling industry transforms, we look for more than a simple vacation: we search for a connection. In service to the people, we decided to embark on this journey to make a connection with travellers from around the world and to share our favourite insights, hotspots, travel tips and history knowledge! We currently run 3 different experiences, from Soho to Covent garden, Notre Dame to Eiffel Tower and Casteddu, I like to keep it friendly and relaxed, so we go through shortcuts and little hideouts to better engage everyone in Architecture and history along the way, giving you great travel tips and tricks to make the most of your visit.
