Cool off (or heat up) from the hot desert sun as we traverse to remote hot springs near Bridgeport, CA. During th 90 minute scenic tour to the spring, we will stop for lunch (on your own) at Topaz Lodge (NV) and then proceed on for a nice soak in either Travertine or Buckeye Hot Springs. Note that these are pristine geothermal springs so you must be prepared for a day outdoors. There is a porta potty but no facilities. Bring bathing suits, water shoes, snacks and your camera.

9:15-11:00 Depart/travel to Topaz Lodge
11:00 -12:30 Brunch at Topaz Lodge (NV)
12:30-1:30 Travel to hot spring areas
1:30-3:30 Relax/soak/explore these spectacular springs
3:30-5:30 Travel to Reno
5:30pm Arrive back at orig departure point (Reno Airport)
Kevin retired from the State of Nevada in 2009, after 32+ years of service. Born and raised in Connecticut, Kevin completed his undergraduate study at Glassboro State College (NJ) in 1976 and went on to receive his masters and doctoral degrees from the University of Nevada in 1983. Being a Vayable Guide has enabled Kevin to not only enjoy something he is passionate about, but also to make retirement as a time when he can share his knowledge and love of the Sierra Nevada and Great Basin desert with visitors to the Reno Tahoe area. Kevin lives in Carson City, Nevada, and enjoys camping, music, hiking, biking and exploring the mighty Sierra Nevada and the Great Basin.
