Have your smartphones ready as we visit some of New York's smallest, oldest and only sites on this part photo walk, part scavenger hunt, with some history and pop culture sprinkled in (of course, DSLRs and Polaroids are welcome too!). The urban landscape is also perfect for your Instagram-worthy snapshots, editorial portraits, macro photography and travel and street photography.
Learn a few historic tidbits while capturing some snapshots of the hidden-in-plain-sight gems, street art, architecture and cinematic New York vistas. And this being a photography excursion, we'll also make a stop at a local photography gallery! There will be the chance to buy snacks (donuts, pizza, chocolate) - totally up to you. The shops themselves are also great for photos too.
Although we will have an itinerary, there's no telling what memorable people or happenings we'll stumble upon along the way, so be open to going "off book"!
ME: Owner of 'Native Creative Concierge', proud flâneuse, Native New Yorker & photographer. Photography features: Time Out New York, The Huffington Post, on a Times Square billboard & The Museum of the City of New York. Find me under 'Abigail Ekue Photography'. Tidbits: I'm a chocolate snob who enjoys dollar pizza, mango-flavored anything and I'm rarely disoriented when I ascend from the subway. I'm curious about other cultures. I love to be active; I'm not afraid to sweat and I'm not afraid of the cold. To learn more about me and what I can do for you spend some time on my website http://nativecreativeconcierge.com Don't hesitate to ask for suggestions for your time in NYC.
