Sometimes being a tourist in Thailand can be a bit tricky. You feel like a stand-out obvious visitor when getting from one place to another in a loud tuk-tuk, putting all your faith and trust in the driver's ability to understand where you want to go, which can sometimes end up a disaster. Most times, you'll be able to spot so many foreigners going about their day, obviously knowing where to go on their scooters.
Chances are, the foreigner you see stacking groceries and daily routines onto their whip is usually an expat that lives here. I am one of those expats that has lived in Chiang Mai for three+ years. My tour is simple. Meet me in the city center, I'll come pick you up on my scooter, and I'll take you to some hidden treasures that is off the beaten path of a typical tourist.
