The Monterey Peninsula is arguably the most pristine coastal region in the country. First discovered in 1542 by Juan Cabrillo, it became the capital of Alta and Baja California for 76 years as well as the sole legal port of entry for foreign ships. Today it is home to a range of towns such as Carmel (home of Pebble Beach Golf Course), Monterey, Pajaro Dunes and Santa Cruz. See sites such as the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Mission San Carlos Borromeo and Mission Carmel. Tour is customizable.

I love to share all things San Franciscan, including diverse cultures and cuisines. Furthermore, I have been doing tours for over 18 years. The best part of doing tours is learning about different cultures, languages and industries from people from around the world. I am also working on my Spanish and German. My interests are travel, languages, history, architecture, dance, music, design, and beach yoga. Full profile

Pep provided a wonderful all day tour to Monterey and Carmel. She was the utmost of professionalism and thoughtfulness. She greeted us on time at our hotel with bagels to munch on the way down Highway One. She knew all the right places for great pictures (she is also a very good photographer!); kept us to our time schedule perfectly; provided background information on the sites; and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend her for private tours. She is flexible, customer-oriented and enjoys people. What more could you want in a tour guide?
