I was born and raised in San Francisco and after years of traveling I realized home is where I want to be. I love this city, and I love showing it off.

You like bikes. You like San Francisco. But the thought of taking a well-worn route through the city with a million other tourists doesn't quite appeal to you. Well, you’re in luck. SoSF's bike tour will have you seeing the city through the knowledgeable, hill-avoiding eyes of a local.

Schedule varies .. contact us for updated schedule. Be sure to arrive 15 minutes early to take care of paperwork and bike fitting.

You'll see Golden Gate Park, funky street art, Victorian architecture, and a historic route created by the city’s founding missionaries. And since San Francisco is a foodie town, you’ll stop for some local delicacies along the way.

Well organised, fantastic guide, well worth it!

Biking is a lovely way to experience the city as SF is an extremely bike friendly place. Moreover, the SoSf guide(BB) was extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the city. Even if you don't bike on a regular basis, this tour will suit you just fine as it is not very vigorous exercise and you do a fair amount of "wiggling"(avoiding inclines). I would advise doing this tour in the beginning of your visit since you cover a lot of territory and may discover places you might want to return to.

As an experienced bike tour participant my expectations were high but SoSF stepped up to the mark and exceeded them in every way. Throughout the tour we covered several districts, learnt about the history of SF and its people, viewed spectacular street art, got some hot tips on the best places to eat, drink and dance and had bucket loads of fun along the way. The tour is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels - thanks to 'The Wiggle' there is no hardcore energy required to comfortably complete the tour. Any energy that does need replenishing afterwards can be done at the excellent ice-cream shop right next door. The lovely Josh was our guide for the afternoon, and how lucky we were to have him - not only is Josh extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his city, he is also friendly, welcoming and was certainly willing to go the extra mile to make each and every member of the tour very happy. I particularly loved his home-made helmet visor, which inspired me to create my own for those rare sunny Manchester days. SoSF are well organised, flexible and a pleasure to do business with. All the bikes and equipment is in excellent condition. They also stock some lovely merchandise - my SoSF t-shirt is both comfy and stylish! I would highly recommend this tour, and I hope that I can return to San Francisco on another occasion if only to try another of the tours this fantastic company has to offer. It was definitely almost the best 3 and a half hours of my life. Thanks SoSF!

I took this bike tour a while back and it was the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon. We took the much less touristy route but still got to see some significant San Francisco landmarks. Even though I live in the city, I learned some new facts about SF and really enjoyed myself.

I'm a bit biased because I love biking so much I used to lead bike tours of my own...but the SoSF bike tour I took reinforced my conviction that bikes are the best way to explore. I live in San Francisco, but learned tons about the hidden history of spots I've never glanced twice at, and found out about hidden gems I never knew existed. Tim and Daniel were fantastic guides. Highly recommended.
