I am an avid skier who would love to share my knowledge of Colorado Ski Mountains with international and/or national guests. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or expert skier, I can point you in the right direction at A-Basin, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Vail or Telluride in English-Spanish-German or Portuguese. You'll get insider tips on the best slopes and travel like a someone who has been living in Denver for decades.
We will ski at any of the mentioned ski resorts, depending on where you are staying.
I was born in Chile and learned to ski in Portillo before the first lift was built there!! . 40 years ago I came to Golden CO. I have been skiing ever since with my husband and my kids and grandkids at all the Colorado ski areas. We have loved skiing in Loveland, ABasin, Keystone, Copper Mountain and VAIL as well as in Aspen and Snowmass. Loveland and ABasin are above timberline and REALLY cold and windy when the weather is bad. On the other hand: when the weather is good: the snow is great and the lift lines short. All areas are crowded on week-ends, so if you are trying to avoid crowds: let's ski during the week if possible. I am a professional interpreter and sometimes I am gone for 3 weeks. I would be willing to pick people up in my Subaru (max 5 including me), take them to the area they want to explore, help them with rentals and other logistics and take them back at the end of the day.
