Joanna Engelman came to New York in 1995 to be an actress in the theater. She received an MA in Educational Theater from NYU, and has acted in Dinner Theaters, off off Broadway, in Cabarets, and solo shows in New York City. After working various jobs, she auditioned to become a licensed NYC tour guide, and fell in love with the work. Here, Joanna could combine her love of travel, history, performing, educating, and meeting interesting people from all over the world! She has also worked as a theatrical teaching artist, bringing drama to the public schools, and she is currently finishing her final semester in an MSW program at Touro college. After living in New York for seventeen years, Joanna has developed a deep love for the city. There is no place like New York.
