The French Wine Invasion in Napa

with Pam S.

Pam S.

For centuries, French luxe wines, have ruled the world of fine wines, with stunning vintages from Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne. When, in the now famous Paris Tasting in 1976, Napa wines upset the French in a blind tasting by France's leading wine critics, it spawned the French Invasion. On this tour, we'll visit Napa hot spots where the French came to make some of the best California champagne and Cabernet Sauvignon to come out of the region.
