I had such a great afternoon with Paola. She is so passionate about gastronomie and the history of Mexico City. I could not have asked for a better experience. I took this tour right at the beginning of my trip and it set me up for all the places to check out in Colonial Roma and beyond as she offered me advice for the places I had planned to explore in the coming days too. Big huge thank you to Paola for her foodie, architectural, design and art insider tips.

Rodgrigo was a great guide and not only took me to great places to eat, he also shared the history of Roma. There were 7 stops on the tour and it took about 3 hours. All of the stops were surprising in one way or another. I learned what a Tlayuderia was, drank local beer, visited a trendy organic food store, had amazing fish tacos, drank wine+ate in a back room at a French store/restaurant that I would easily have missed, and ended the trip in Roma's new market, where I had an espresso and some unbelievable chocolate. This trip is not to be missed. Just the right amount of food+drink, just the right time, just the right tour.
