It is difficult to describe your first experience of coming face-to-face with these magnificent primates! For sure it will take your breath away, and you will remember it forever!
You climb up into the jungle-clad mountains, searching for the allusive gorilla family unit. The bush is thick, and the going can be tough at times. Your work is most definitely rewarded as your search is successful, and you sit down to observe the gorillas in their natural habitat.
To limit human contact, your time with the gorillas is limited to a maximum of one hour. This reason, combined with the fact that these awesome beasts are endangered and visiting them is a life highlight for most people, means that getting a permit to visit the gorillas can sometimes be quite difficult. Book early to reserve a time when they're around.
While this is a set price for gorilla trekking, I also provide custom tours to your budget and interests. Please contact me if you're interested in this.
Please note that the cost includes the $500 fee necessary to purchase the gorilla viewing permit from the government to see gorillas.
