An emotive anthem to marine wildlife! With marine biologist on board, we head up to the natural habitats of feeding for common dolphins, bottlenose dolphins and minke whales, persuing one of the most wonderful spectacles of life in the oceans.
The starting point for the discovery and interpretation of marine life comes in our dolphin watching center, an old fishing warehouse in the beautiful fishing village of Ferragudo. Here is where we conduct lectures before rides, but is also place of arrival after the experience, rendezvous with skippers, comforted by a chat, a tea and some local cookies.
I am from Charneca da Cparica, a small town in central part of Portugal, 15 minutes from Lisbon. I grow up watching fishermen coming back for the sea with their nets and my passion with the sea started there. I left my home town when I was 18 years old to become a marine biologist in south of Portugal. In 2007 I started working in marine conservation NGO throughout the world, like Costa Rica, Panamá, Cape Verde and Madagáscar. I am an easy going girl who loves to travel, interact with people and meet different cultures. I always feel that every person that crosses my way has something to show me about life. Besides that I love to "fly" throughout the underwater world. It makes me feel connected with nature and gives me the balance that I need to keep focus on my work and life.
