Flexible tour of Shanghai with a young college grad!

Currently working as an equity analyst at a hedge fund but was taking my visiting friends on tours around Shanghai and found out that I really enjoyed doing that. So, I signed up on this site to go further and maybe meet some cool people in the process.

I studied asian studies in college and am pretty well-versed in the history, culture, etc. Due to my job I have to know quite a bit about what's going on in this country so can discuss contemporary Chinese issues such as politics, economics, business, etc.

Tour can be customized to your preferences. There are plenty of sightseeing attractions and things to do in the city. Restaurants and nightlife are great as well and I will take you to my favorite spots. I can come up with a detailed schedule/itinerary as well - please e-mail me at

I'm a bit busy with work on the weekdays but am open to hosting tours Saturday-Sunday.

Please see my profile for a more in-depth background!

Tour is flexible but can cover all the main attractions. Only difference is that you'd be spending time with me, a young, highly educated recent grad who has a passion for Chinese history and culture

Hi all, I'm a Chinese-American who moved to shanghai after graduating from college. Worked in the solar industry for a year, currently working at a hedge fund analyzing companies in china and asia. I wanted to sign up for this site since I had a lot of friends who were visiting shanghai and I found out that I really enjoyed taking them around the city. I also hosted a phd student from LSE via couchsurfing and had a lot of fun showing her around. In general I am pretty laid back, focused on my work and enjoying talking about big picture issues concerning politics, business, etc. I majored in Asian Studies in college and am very familiar with chinese history, if that's something you're interested in learning about.
