If you are new to Spokane, or just visiting for awhile, and want to visit the local art galleries and museums, this is the experience for you. I will introduce you to various outdoor public art in Riverfront Park, take you to the various public and private galleries, including public down town galleries, college and university galleries, and the private galleries both downtown and in the Garland district. My time is flexible and I realize art can't be appreciated on a schedule. Plan on spending the better part of the afternoon enjoying the best art Spokane has to offer.
Riverfront Park public art, Chase Gallery, Kress Gallery, Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, Gonzaga University Jundt Art Museum, Spokane Falls Community College Fine Arts Gallery, Whitworth University Bryan Oliver Gallery, Tinman Gallery, Saranac Art Projects, etc.
All of the venues I will take you to are free admission, with the exception of the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture (admission price is not included in this experience but must be paid for by the customer). You can use public transportation to see all of these places, or walk, but I will provide transportation (included) and take you directly to the venues to save you time and frustration.
50-year-old husband of 25 years and father of two college students. I am a retired US Navy officer living in the outskirts of Spokane, Washington. After my 24 years on active duty, I retired and moved to eastern Washington and built my dream house. I studied printmaking, drawing, and painting and received a BA of Art from Whitworth University in 2013. I enjoy traveling, nature, genealogy, and printmaking. My wife and I have our own art studio and when we are not traveling around the world, we are working in our studio or out on our 10 acres overlooking Lake Spokane. Full profile ⋅ Leave a Review
