Explore Your Leadership in the Rockies

with Monty M.

Monty M.

Awaken your senses in the grandeur and splendor of Colorado’s Estes Valley, where we will take a 4-6 hour hike and rediscover participants’ Leadership qualities. Your guide is the lead author and practitioner of The Practical Neuroscience of Leadership, Building Personal and Professional Relationships. You will be invited to complete an online self-assessment, review the results and set forth on a hike of self-discovery as an individual, couple, family, work team, or Board of Directors. We will discuss your sensory and cognitive preferences, the preferences of your colleagues, methods for being transformational, dealing with resistance and change, a comparison of leadership and fire, all resulting in new understanding of the leader within you. The spectacular beauty, coupled with insightful conversations, will give you new perspectives on your role as a leader.

Monty will meet you in either a common location or at your hotel. We will customize a hike that is right for you. The Estes Valley has many options available based on your experience, interests and being mindful of weather conditions. We may walk along streams, around lakes, hike to the top of mountains or enjoy the beauty of a high mountain valley. The valley has rich animals and plant life so we are likely to see deer and elk, and if very fortunate, bear, big horn sheep, and eagles. The forests are spectacular with the 300-500 year old Ponderosa Pines, many types of conifers, and abundant wild flowers. We will customize a hike that is right for you.
