I am a visual artist and I have an MFA on photography.
I will bring you to the best art galleries and museums in New York. Guiding you to explore the art world of the city by showing you where to find what kind of art so you can get really a sense of its movements. I will make a list including the artists who has exhibitions by the time we connect then we will pick the names together and especially focus on them for you to be able to know about the art and artist you like. I can also help you to use your camera and answer all your questions both technical and visual.
You'll learn how to choose the best angle and compositions and learn how to think about creative new ways to best use your camera's settings in manual mode.

since I have worked with galleries and museums both as an artist and photographer I would love to share my experience with you.

1-If you are an artist I will share my experience about how to be part of New York art market and present your work and what steps to follow.
2-If you are interested in learning film photography I have two cameras you can use while we are spending time in the city and i will tell you where to find best deals for developing your film, printing and photography equipment shopping.
3-We can do all this things by biking as well.

I am a visual artist. I earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2004 and Masters of Fine Arts in Photography in 2007 in Istanbul. In 2008, I awarded a scholarship to attend the School of Visual Arts summer residency program, based on my project “Resistance” combining Photography and Visual Arts elements (sinemdisli.com) and this brought me to America! I have been living in New York since then. My favorite thing here to go to museums, galleries. I love to cook, compare cuisines and its culture in NYC and being in Nature, exploring things i had never experienced before and i like socializing and having conversation about art, its theory, life and philosophy... and biking in New York City is one thing I won't give up! and I believe what his quote says: I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.
