For many visitors going out for tapas is the quintessential Spanish experience. I will take you to places where you can try the best tapas from the most traditional to tapas with a modern twist; that will leave you asking for more and in the best bodegas and tapas bars only the locals know about. And of course it makes perfect sense to accompany all this tapas with a good glass of wine, so we will also help you discover the aromas and flavours of the best wines to go with this mouth-watering Spanish cuisine.

According to many residents of the Triana neighbourhood, crossing to this side of the river is like entering another city. This neighbourhood is famous for being one of the birthplaces of flamenco and many of Seville's great bullfighters. Here you will find countless bars and taverns where you can sample some of the most traditional tapas in Seville. The price includes 4 drinks and 4 tapas in 4 bars.

My name is David and my passion is to make sure that people have a nice time. Although I am a true Sevillian and know every single corner of this city but I'm also an avid traveler, who has done his fair bit of traveling and discovering other cultures and customs. I studied biology and specialized in marine biology. this gave me the chance to do a lot of sailing, diving and spending many hours at the sea visiting different ports and beaches in Andalusian coastline. After many years of working as a biologist I finally decided to follow my passion for traveling and my talent for looking after people and started my career as a private guide. Being a native Sevillian and the fact of having traveled a lot both allowed me to know exactly what visitors in a new city are looking for. With this in sight, I have designed a wide range of different tours and activities that offer an alternative point of view of Seville, far from the touristy routes, and enable people to gain a detailed overview of Seville before exploring the city on their own. These tours are also perfect for people, who are only here for a day or two and who want to make the most of their limited time here. I also offer tours and activities for families with kids who need to do something more interesting and funny than just walk between old buildings and monuments. Among the many tours that I could offer, you will find themed walking tours, fun bike or electric bike tours, tasty tapas tour that will make you never forget Seville and its tapas, kayak tours, delicious yet informative cooking classes, excursions to National Parks and charming villages that include it all: beaches, sightseeing, animals, hiking, swimming. . . Just ask me what you would like to do and experience and I shall be able to design a tour tailored to your wishes. As for languages, I provide tours in English and Spanish. I suggest all visitors to book my tours for their first day in Sevilla, so that they get to see the best that Seville has to offer and then they go exploring for the rest of their stay armed with a lot of instructions and recommendations from me. I accept individuals and ideally groups of between 2 - 6. But I could run bigger groups too. As mentioned before I have a passion for customising the tours for you depending on what you want to do and the time you have available. I do not and will not take a commission from any type of establishment. If you need some information about restaurants, hotels, shows or shops, I will just suggest you the best of them depending what you are looking for but never depending on my commission. My tours and activities are real experiences. And the last but not the least, I am passionate about traveling and communicating with people from different cultures. I am a music lover and amateur percussionist and I love food and wine, bikes and nature, people and people. Full profile

I'll be honest, we had already been to Barcelona and had tapas there and I thought I had a pretty good handle on the dishes. Boy, was I wrong! We met David and a new guide in training, Raul, and set off for a great adventure. We fell in love with Triana and the mix of history, food and drink we enjoyed with David. A truly cultural exchange, we discussed everything from spices in the dishes to employment to word origins. All the food was great and David had some super suggestions! We even went back to one the the restaurants later during our trip. I would recommend this tour for the guide's personality, the food and the experience.
