The Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall is located on the People's Square. It covers an area of over 0.4 hectare and rises 142 feet high. There are five floors above the ground and two underground. It opened to the public in 2000.
Shanghai People's Square is located at the very center of Shanghai and was the demarcation point of East Nanjing Road and West Nanjing Road. With Yan'an Gaojia Road in its south, Huangpi North Road in its west and Tibetan Central Road in its east, it is a flourishing place for people to look around.

The Bund, also called Zhongshan Dong Yi Lu (East Zhongshan 1st Road), is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. It is on the west bank of Huangpu River from the Waibaidu Bridge to Nanpu Bridge and winds 1500 meters (0.93 mile) in length.
Nanjing Road East, honored as "China's No. 1 Street", has become an all-weather pedestrian arcade. Shops and restaurants provide products and services with their own characteristics, making it an ideal place that integrates shopping, restaurants, amusement and sightseeing.
Pick up from your hotel lobby in Shanghai,then transfer to Shanghai City Planning & Exhibition Hall, which shows to people also to the world the achievements in Shanghai urban planning and construction development. Sightseeing about 1hour.

After lunch,Cruising on the Huangpu River,visitors can gaze at the mighty skyscrapers, the Monument Tower to the People's Heroes, the famous Waibaidu Bridge and Huangpu Park on one bank, and the Orient Pearl TV Tower, International Convertion Center, Jin Mao Building and the newly rising Pudong New Area on the other.(1hour)
Then wallking to the well-known Bund,which is a must for visitors to Shanghai. Fifty-two buildings lining the narrow shoreline of the Huangpu River offer a living exhibition of Gothic, Baroque, Roman, Classic Revival and Renaissance architectural styles, as well as combinations of Chinese and Western styles(40minutes).
