Among the holdings of the Shanghai Museum many items are superlative works of art and are unique in the entire country. These include in particular the bronzes, calligraphy, paintings, and Ming and Qing furniture.

Located in the center of Shanghai City south of Huaihai Zhong Lu, Shanghai Xin Tian Di has become an urban attraction that holds the historical and cultural legacies of the city. It is a fashionable pedestrian street composed of Shikumen and modern architecture style.

As a renowned historical attraction of Shanghai, the Site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China has received 10 million visitors from home and abroad since its opening 50 years ago. Situated at No.76 Xingye Road, next to Shanghai Xintiandi, a fashionable pedestrian area, the two-story Shikumen building was completed in 1920 as the residence of two Communist Party members. On July 23, 1921, thirteen members held their first national congress of the Communist Party of China here, marking the birth of the Party.

The Oriental Pearl TV Tower is located in Pudong Park in Lujiazui, Shanghai. The tower, surrounded by the Yangpu Bridge in the northeast and the Nanpu Bridge in the southwest, creates a picture of 'twin dragons playing with pearls'. The entire scene is a photographic jewel that excites the imagination and attracts thousands of visitors year-round.

The Century Avenue in Pudong, Shanghai, completed on April 18, presents the world's best city sight. The Century Avenue runs across the canyon of hundreds of high buildings, clusters together the four functional areas of finance, business, trade and administration in the Lujiazui Financial and Trading District and finally falls into and merges with the Century Park, the largest green sea in Shanghai.

After lunch, head to Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower. The Orient Pearl TV Tower is 468 meters high, the tallest in Asia and third tallest in the world. It faces the Bund across the Huangpu River. When viewed from the Bund, the tower and the Nanpu and Yangpu bridges create a vivid imagery known as "two dragons playing with a pearl." The sphere at the top has a diameter of 45 meters and is 263 meters above ground.(1hour)
