Mutianyu Great Wall:
Mutianyu Great Wall, is one of the most famous and best preserved sections of the Great Wall together with Badaling and Jinshanling sections. Located in the northeast of Beijing Municipality, Mutianyu is connected with the smaller hotspot sections of Jiankou in the west and Lianhuachi in the east.
The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the middle of Beijing, China, and now houses the Palace Museum. For almost 500 years, it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government.
Day 01Shanghai - Beijing by high-speed train ( L )
Our guide pick you up from your hotel in Shanghai and transferred to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station. Take No.G102(07:00/12:20) for Beijing.
Met by Beijing tour guide and transferred to Mutainyu Great Wall, one of the most beautiful sections of the sections of the Great Wall around Beijing. The Mutianyu section of Great Wall is located in Huairou district, about 80 km north from downtown Beijing. The Mutianyu Great Wall is less crowded than Badaling Great Wall. Mutianyu Great Wall works as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. (Sightseeing 2hours)
Be transferred to your Beijing downtown hotel.
Day 02Beijing Tour and take high-speed train to Shanghai ( B L )
After breakfast at your hotel, start your tour with the visit to Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world.(40minutes)
Then move on to the Forbidden City, the Chinese imperial palace from the mid-Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty.(2hours)
Transfer to Hutong area by car, explore the most beautiful Hutong area in Beijing by walking. Sightseeing of inner Hutong by rickshaw (40 minutes).
Have lunch in a local restaurant.
After lunch, transferred to Beijing South Railway Station. Take No.G19(16:00/20:55) for Shanghai. Arriving in Shanghai and go back to your hotel on your own.
