The Grand View Garden is a replica of Da Guan Yuan, is a large landscaped interior garden for a magnificent imperial family in the classic Chinese novel Dream of the Red Chamber, built within the compounds of the Rongguo Mansion. From there we could learn about this famous novel as it is the setting for much of the story.
Just 15 minutes drive from the Grand View Garden, Jinze is an age-old town in the southern region of the Yangtze River. Because it has not yet commercially developed so it is the best hidden place to enjoy a quiet time in a lovely day. It flourished in the Song Dynasty and furthered its prosperity in the Yuan Dynasty. During the Song Dynasty, it boasted sin temples, one tower, thirteen workshops, and forty-two bridges. Its stone bridges are believed to be the most densely constructed in the south of the Yangtze River. The extant bridges now include Rainbow bridge, Wangang Bridge, Puji Bridge, Yingxia Bridge, Tianhuangge Bridge, Ruyi Bridge and Bridge for freeing captive fish.
