The Mission District is an amazing eclectic neighborhood full of vibrant murals and mouth-watering tastes from around the world. With its roots in Central and South American culture, the Mission shares with us art on almost every street corner as well as traditional Latin cuisine. Come discover the secrets and stories that surround the mural-lined alleyways. Join us to get a taste of the new up-and-coming restaurants in the District as well. With the influx of the new tech generation and the hipster movement, our little 24th haven has been inundated with new flavors, staying true to the California cuisine's motto of infusing tastes from around the world and sourcing local and organic ingredients.

Dishes that are frequently served on this tour: tacos, burritos, coffee made one cup at a time, clam chowder, sushi, bratwurst, freshly made tortillas, pork al pastor, huaraches, New York-style Pastrami sandwiches, hand-crafted small batch ice cream, and sweet or savory pie.

Tours includes 5 tasting stops and an informational mural walk.

The tour lasts 2 1/2 to 3 hours and begins at 2PM on weekdays and weekends by request.

I live and work in the Mission and love not only my neighborhood, but the city as a whole. I'm an explorer by nature -- both abroad and of San Francisco itself. My goal is to find all the nooks and crannies that are there to discover. Tackle all the hills. Experience all the neighborhoods. I love to walk. I love to eat. I love to meet new people. I love SF.
