The Haight-Ashbury District is famous for the Summer of Love but come explore with us a neighborhood full of rich history and beautiful Victorians. Walk down the famous stretch of Haight, check out the picturesque Panhandle Park and discover Buena Vista Park, which boasts amazing views of San Francisco. Climb Corona Heights and overlook the whole city with the wind at your back.
Tour includes an informational walk down the famous Haight Street and a somewhat strenuous 2 - 2.5 mile hike up Buena Vista Heights (560 ft) and Corona Heights (510 ft).
The tour lasts 2 - 3 hours, begins at the corner of Haight and Ashbury in front of the Ben and Jerry's, and concludes at 16th and Castro near the SF Streetcar. Tours begin at 3PM on weekdays and weekends by request.

I live and work in the Mission and love not only my neighborhood, but the city as a whole. I'm an explorer by nature -- both abroad and of San Francisco itself. My goal is to find all the nooks and crannies that are there to discover. Tackle all the hills. Experience all the neighborhoods. I love to walk. I love to eat. I love to meet new people. I love SF. http://www.toursbylily.com/ Full profile ⋅ Leave a Review
