We start our tour on Pier 11 in lower Manhattan, where we embark on a 20 minute ride through the New York Harbor to Red Hook, Brooklyn. This walking tour will take us to local pubs, a winery, a stillhouse to sample some rum or whiskey. We will take in the amazing sites, and eat at some local spots that serve up some delicious tidbits. This is not a lecture. We will have fun walking, talking, eating and drinking. Bring your camera, and some comfortable walking shoes. We've got a lot to see. Food and nonalcoholic beverages are included.
This tour incorporates aspects of adventure, art, culture, and hopefully some romance.
A little about myself. I am a young 50 something gentleman, that loves to show off my city. I am a life long New Yorker, and have lived and worked in New York City and Long Island for most of my life. I came to this country in 1962 from Cuba, and yes I speak Spanish fluently. I have had the opportunity both on my own, and while serving in the U.S. Navy to travel all over the world, and I love meeting new people from all over the U.S., and the world. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management, and have tons of life experience. I enjoy exercise (running, walking, biking), eating great foods, and a cold drink when work is over, and it's time for some fun. Full profile ⋅ Leave a Review
