The best way to experience another culture is through enjoyment of its cuisine. I've explored Tijuana for many years, and I put together an all-inclusive, guided street food tour with five food stops, one non-alcoholic beverage stop, and one dessert stop, all off the beaten path. This is one foodie adventure unlike any other, and guaranteed to satisfy your appetite! You'll taste the best flavors of Tijuana and experience the city's vibrant culture and colorful sights and sounds.
This food tour lasts from three to four hours, and is ideal for foodies and those who enjoy street food and hole-in-the-wall eateries.
We'll first meet up at the 24-hour McDonald's at the San Ysidro Trolley Station to acquaint ourselves and go over the itinerary. We'll then cross into Tijuana by foot and hop on a taxi to Revolution Avenue, the heart of downtown Tijuana. From there, we'll make our way to the various eateries--all within ten to fifteen minutes of one another. Along the way I'll point out a few of the eateries Anthony Bourdain and Andrew Zimmern showcased on their Travel Channel shows.
I hope to see you on my Tijuana Street Food Tour. We'll have a culinary experience you'll never forget. Come hungry!
Everything included: food, all transportation in Tijuana, sightseeing, shopping, and your tour guide!
A foodie by heart, I grew up in the restaurant industry. My parents run a Chinese restaurant in San Diego, so I was exposed to a wide variety of foods from a young age. I learned to appreciate the subtleties in the taste of foods from across the cultures. I love exploring different neighborhoods on foot for tasty things to eat to satisfy my joy of discovering new flavors. My passions are food, culture, and adventure. I combined the three to come up with my Tijuana Street Food Tour along with other one-of-a-kind foodie tours. We'll eat, learn about a new culture, and burn off the calories in between the stops. I walk super fast but eat super slow, and I enjoy every moment. Full profile
