Are you interested in culture and folk art? Would you like to discover real, not touristy Poland?

If yes - Zalipie would be perfect for you! This is a famous (but not touristy) little village in southern part of Poland - located ca. 1,5 hour drive from Krakow. This is a place which may be described as "artisty village". Almost everywhere you will see the local art culture - many houses are painted in typical Zalipie folklore style.

Come with me and listen to stories of exceptional polish folk painters, visit locals at their homes and enjoy real Poland! This is really something exceptional - and not discovered by most "tourists" who come to Poland.

I have worked as a tour leader for more than 8 years. I have a "tour leader" license and I finished one year course to become a local guide in Krakow (Poland).I was born in Krakow and I just love my city! Why do I love my job? It allows me to meet many interesting people, share experiences and show my country and the whole Eastern European region to guests from all over the world. I love to share my knowledge with you - I know that the journey is not only about "seeing" places - this is mainly a "cultural experience" when you get to know people, their habits and acquire and culture. I love art - my father is an artist and thanks to it I have particular interest in art and Polish art craft. By sharing my enthusiasm and being a local expert I know that I can conduct a wonderful tour. I do care about my clients, and they feel my personal attitude, as I try to anticipate their expectiations and interests. I also work with guests who are looking for their "family roots". This is a very meaningful part of my job. I know how important it is for the guests to trace their history and I have to admit that this makes my job not only an interesting one, but most import_antly significant and sometimes very moving one. I would like to share the real life while you are travel around Poland that is why I often share my personal stories connected with my city and country. These are stories referring to history, culture, religion and "regular" life in Poland. Full profile Leave a Review
