Have you already visited Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Galata Tower, Taksim Square, and Istiklal Avenue? Good! It means that you haven't discovered the dark side of Istanbul yet.

What about the park which once was a burial side for the mad people? Or, the house full of stoned mannequins ? Have you tried to break into the dark tunnels of the Byzantine palace?

In this amazing walking tour you will discover the darkest side of Istanbul.

We will meet when the night turns into dark blue, and we will head to dusk through mysterious allies and secret backstreets telling you unknown anecdotes. Stories about footprints on stones, headless bodies and murders. You will learn about the public executions in Sultanahmet Square, the suicides ended in the depth of Bosphorus and the dark spells of Galata.

While walking you will also have a chance to see hidden parts of Istanbul, with picturesque views.

A unique experience you have to try!

Hungry, most of the time, anthropologist, good reader, sometimes writer, amateur swimmer, eater, food writer, critic, quasi-narrator. I was born, raised, educated, have read, wrote and ate in Istanbul for most of my life except from the four years when I was living in Amsterdam. Together, we can explore the darkest, tastiest, the "other" Istanbul, which you cannot find on the travel accounts. Full profile

Nice guy but tour was not very exciting. None of the stories were even slightly scary. Nothing like the haunted tours we've done of Edinburgh or Venice.
