Arriving in London in the winter of 2004, Mia assisted several artists and worked as an illustrator for a musical charity before studying at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. She has hosted a variety of poetically curated events and classes including life drawing at some of Britain's most celebrated historical homes and concept based workshops with the Kurdish migrant community. Mia has worked as a tour guide, in the area of Modernist art & architecture for the National Trust, since 2011.
