Ideal way to start a short visit and stay awake after a morning arrival from across the Atlantic. Monday is a slower day but Kathryn's tour showed me parts of London that I would revisit later in the week. How about a pop-up art exhibit in the City? Throw in an architecture stop, then mix with a less-crowded-with-tourist market area ... she made me feel as though she was letting me in on a Londoner's secret finds.
What a great way to spend a Monday. Bin held up so well after a nine-hour-long flight from Canada and was full of beans (energy :o)). He was brave enough to put the lunch choice in my hands and I'm pretty sure there was no disappointment with our selection of tapas in Brixton Market. He was a keen walker - a great thing, as it's the best way to see a place - and he had loads of questions for me, which is also a great sign that someone is enthusiastic about their journey and destination. Bin, I hope you get to see, do and eat everything on your list during your week in London Town.
