Graduate of UC Berkeley. Went to school in Britain but a California native! Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I took this tour yesterday with my sister and her friend from the east coast. we absolutely loved it! We made it all the way out past Angel Island and back all within the 3 hours we had on the water. The food was good and the scenery was great! Couldn't think of a better way to spend 3 hours in San Francisco.
My friend and I went out on the Bay Lady for 2 hours last Sunday and had an absolute blast. I never realized just how far we would be venturing out into the bay. We passed Alcatraz and made it all the way to Angel Island before we had to turn back. The bar was stocked and the wind was high - all good things for a sailor! Definitely recommend this to anyone coming through the bay area. A great way to spend an afternoon!
Tim is a total chiller and loves the outdoors. He is by far the best possible person to lead you on this trip. He has extensive knowledge of not only backpacking, but of the Lost Coast itself. If you're looking for a backpacking guide in Northern California, he's your man.
Jack is an incredible surfer and a great guy. He is happy to show anyone the secret surf spots around Santa Cruz no matter how bad at surfing you may be (like me). His enthusiasm for the sport is unrelenting as is his kindness.
Matt's an awesome guy who shreds the guitar like a rock god. He's also an amazing chef. Combine the two together and what do you have? One rockin picnic! He knows his wine, cheese and cured meats very well. As for his guitar skills, he knows everything from classical, flamenco, an of course, rock. What better way to spend a day in New York than having a picnic in Central Park?
Matt has some fantastic wine tours running. Being driven up to Napa and Sonoma in the back of a limo is the only way possible to do this trip. Great wine and a great atmosphere (both inside and outside the limo!). Can't stop talking about this one.
Kym is a great guide for this tour and has extensive knowledge of the Cannabis culture and industry taking form in California. Her knowledge and interest in the subject certainly came through while talking to her. I can't stop telling my friends just how cool this tour really is.
I went to Big Sur with Michael recently and had an absolute blast. We spent two days hiking all over the beaches and hills while having a fantastic time. Michael knew all the cool spots to hit and certainly didn't disappoint. He came thoroughly prepared and had everything ready to go in terms of camping equipment. To top it off, he made sure our campsite was close to a few Dutch girls traveling through the area! Awesome night, even greater weekend!
Shah provided great transport to and from Kuala Lumpur Airport as well as around metropolitan KL. He provided great commentary and guidance as we toured around this immensely crowded and congested city. I couldn't possibly imagine trying to get around KL by ourselves without Shah! Thanks so much!!!
I went on this tour today and I can't stop talking about it with my friends. I got a great view into this budding movement taking root in California (pun intended). I was guided about by Salwa, a very kind expert in the cannabusiness who was more than happy to answer my questions. For those who are looking for something cool to do in the SF Bay Area (whether you're a tourist or not), this tour is a MUST for anyone looking to learn more about California's marijuana movements and culture.
I just moved the san francisco and started working in the mission district, and I have never realized just how much art is right in front of my eyes. Russ point out some really cool pieces I would never have come across with an untrained eye. he knows such an amazing amount about graffiti and the street art community. a must do for anyone passing through the mission
I was just in Singapore last week and Devan made me an exquisite suit grey and blue pinstripe suit made out of only the finest Italian materials. To top it off, he made me one blue and one peach (i dont want to say pink!) collared shirt. He also included two of his handmade ties as well. I am so happy with the suit, especially because I would have paid upwards of $2000-$2500 for the same suit here in America. Thanks so much!!!
On my first day of living in SF, Jareau took me on an amazing locals' tour of all the high spots of the City. We saw 3 different spots that had absolutely breathtaking views. To top it off we had some Mission Street Pie at the end. So fun that I plan to take any of my friends who haven't seen the city yet on the same tour.
Matthew has spent almost a decade skating the hills of Los Gatos and his local knowledge of all the best longboarding runs certainly comes off as a result of this. Find yourself cruising down pleasant grades for upwards of 5 minutes at a time in some places. Shred some pavement yo!
Matthew has spent years long boarding to and from all his classes on UC Berkeley’s campus. As a result, his knowledge of all the smooth patches of tarmac, steep downgrades, and pleasant cruises is extensive. Spending hours with him “surfing the pavement” breeze past much too fast – especially with a couple beers.
Matthew spent four years living in Berkeley as a student at Cal, and getting to know the town intimately--and it shows! After spending years finding perfect hangout, date and party spots, let him show you his all time favorite up in the Berkeley hills.
