We took the 101 tour with Alina. She is a great tour guide and we would recommend her 101 tour. She was engaging and entertaining and very flexible to our interests and comfort. We took a short break in an outdoor cafe to rest our feet and she had prepared a list of Romanian phrases and information about the alphabet/ language. She took us to some of the hidden churches around the city center as well as the major sites (like Revolution square). She is clearly passionate and knowledgeable about Bucharest and Romanian history. We were also interested in local wines and she was very helpful with recommendations for wine bars and vintages.
Judit did a great job and I would definitely recommend her. We had a walking tour of Budapest with Judit and she is an excellent tour guide; very knowledgable of Budapest's history and clearly loves this city and country. She gave us recommendations for wine and food. She showed us around the market and shared some of her favorite finds. The tour was nice that it was just us (my husband, me, and her) and seemed more like a friend showing us around town rather than following a group around with a little flag.
The afternoon spent with Amanda was wonderful, fun and engaging, we had very interesting discussions about the Romanian history and culture and about Bucharest.
I was also lucky enough to peek into the diversity of American culture and tourism opportunities with Amanda's help.
Thank you for a lovely afternoon, I would definitely recommend you as interesting and experienced tourists, with a good sense of humor!
